Why do you want to be the Lord of this province?
- I believe I have the skill to run and expand a warlike nation on this server and to provide a home server for my group and land to call our own.

What is the background and/or history of your province?
- The Borean peoples emerged from the scattering of the Kingdom of Argonia, arriving in an icy taiga where they decided to rebuild the best they could. In order to deal with the harsh weather and other hostile barbarian tribes near them, they adopted a military style government with elements of feudalism intertwined. The Grand Marshal would rule the civilization as supreme leader, granting further land and territory to those who worked their way up through the military ladder. This combination of military style promotion and concrete rewards for ranking up created a hyper-competitive meritocracy that led to a borderline fanatical devotion to the Grand Marshal. As time progresses the civilization of the Borean people is coming into contact with others from the scattering, leading to a grand debate between those in the military that brand themselves as isolationists and those that believe in total conquest. Erik Vongvied is the current Grand Marshal, seeking to expand his people's domain while still offering them the glory and honor of serving the Borean people. May Boreas Protect, the beginning of a journey starts now.

Any extra information/things you'd like to add?
- I tried to rope in the lore from https://officialpatriam.fandom.com/wiki/The_Origins_of_Patriam into our backstory.

Conditional Acceptance

I forwarded your application to @Atmos for review. However, as he has things going on in his life, the review is becoming delayed. I am personally unsure if this will meet Alex's requirements to fit within the lore. Thus, to allow you and your crew to start playing. I am giving you conditional acceptance.

The condition is that when Alex reviews your application in the future, he may not approve of your background story and you will be required to change it to suit his requirements.

I love your backstory! Its creative and attempts to tie into existing Patriamic lore. Unfortunately it doesn't quite work, but I have some suggestions on how to make it work and what unfortunately doesn't work at all.

"The world of Boreas was an icy world of hardship and struggle, lit by the ominous sun of their system that shined red."
- Upon the destruction of the galaxy, Patriam was plunged into a short Ice Age, caused by the debris of Patriam IV (another planet in the Patriam Solar System). After the star of the local solar system eventually swallowed the majority of the debris the world returned to its current form, however its more hospitable areas still relied on the heat of volcanic activity below the planet's surface.

"After many years a population emerged and civilization soon followed, calling themselves Boreans. Visited by their God Boreas and his wife, the Goddess Chione, their society began to advance quickly. A feudal system emerged after the departure of their Gods. with the descendants of them being known as Boreades and possessing superhuman intellect and strength."
- You could use this as the mythical origins of your people, but not the historical. The God Boreas could refer to the character known as The Last Antaelaen, also known as The Last King of Argonia before its destruction and the scattering of its many peoples. Depending on what phenotype your civilisation possesses, you could originate from one of the six "peoples" of Argonia. You also cannot be superhuman or have any superhuman abilities and/or superpowers.

After a long period of time the kingdoms living under the green sun saw disaster approaching their world. In a civilization far away there was rumors of galactic ending, of a super weapon capable of destroying the galaxy in seconds, almost like a thunderbolt. Scientists across the planet under the green sun scrambled to find a way to counter this weapon to no avail. In secret though they planned a last ditch attempt to save their people, by ripping open tears in reality and stuffing time capsules of people inside them - to sit and wait until the galaxy was reborn and then emerge from the rift and deposit its inhabitants upon a world they could live on. While the scientists could not give the people in the time capsule advanced equipment or tools, they attempted to install a device to give them the knowledge about how to rebuild their lost civilization. When disaster struck, the weapon detonated and trillions of wormholes opened across the galaxy, destroying the planet under the green sun. Thirty thousand years passed and the time capsule was finally alerted of a civilization emerging on the planet of Argonia. Over the course of the 30 thousand years though, the device to instill knowledge into the occupants malfunctioned, barely giving them the basic understanding of language and their culture. Erik Fredrickson was one of the few members of royalty that chose to go into the time capsule, and emerged as leader of the Borean people upon their arrival.
- Some of this somewhat fits into the backstory of The Kingdom of Argonia but there are some glaring contradictions with lore. Primarily with the fact that its stated that the event known as "The Great Catastrophe" happens after the foundation of the Borean civilisation which wouldn't work. You also mention Argonia to be a planet. Instead, Argonia was a Kingdom on an island that was destroyed at the end of The First Human-Created War between the forces of Mors-Incarnatum and that of Argonia and The Last Antaelaen. The island was seemingly destroyed and sunk into the ocean, similar to the irl legend of Atlantis. You would be better off perhaps talking about the early historial, rather than mythical, origins of the Borean civilisation. The first ruler, significant events, etc. If you would like help tying it into lore even more I would be happy to help!
